You can reach out
Support for right now.
You do not need to find the perfect words to ask for help.
Find support where you are
These independent directories can help you look for local phone, text, or chat support:
- Find A Helpline — browse services by country and topic.
- International Association for Suicide Prevention: crisis centres and helplines — find links to support resources around the world.
We do not run these directories or independently verify their listings. Check each service's current coverage, hours, languages, cost, and privacy information. A listing does not promise availability or a particular outcome.
Country contact details
We publish a country-specific contact here only after the site owner checks its details. A verification date records that check; services can still change.
No country-specific phone contacts have completed our human verification process yet. Use the directories above or your local services for current details.
4 prepared resource records are awaiting verification. Their phone details are not published here.
If you are looking for ongoing support
A primary care professional or a local mental health service can explain options in your area. You can ask about the cost, waiting time, language support, and what happens at a first appointment.
If reaching out feels difficult, you could write a short note first: “I have been finding things hard, and I would like to talk about support.” A trusted person may be able to help you make the call or attend an appointment.
If you are supporting someone else
You can listen, ask what would help, and offer to look for local support together. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services. You do not have to manage an urgent situation alone.
